Duncannon

Located 20 miles north of Harrisburg, Duncannon overlooks the Clarks Ferry Bridge. Laid out in 1792, it was home to the Lightning Guider sled for over 80 years. Today, the town of 1,400 residents offers restaurants, salons, professional services, and local breweries and wineries. The Appalachian Trail runs right through the heart of town, drawing hikers to scenic overlooks like Hawk Rock.
