Millerstown
Founded in 1790, Millerstown holds the distinction as Perry County’s oldest town. Situated along the scenic Juniata River, the borough features striking old stone houses – many dating to the 1700s – that reflect its prosperous era during the Pennsylvania Canal days, when the waterway fueled growth and trade.
Today, this welcoming community of about 700 residents is home to Greenwood Area School District facilities and outstanding recreational amenities, including a spacious community park with a large swimming pool, playgrounds, sports fields, community gardens, and a challenging 9-hole disc golf course along the river.
